+ Story

Characters for "Theophany: God Disposes", a game script I wrote.

The Hidden Goddess. She is composed of the souls of the offerings made during the killing of gods, a manifestation of the fear and sadness that gives birth to consciousness. Her authority transcends human belief and she is a unique entity with self-control.

She is powerful but restrained. In the story, she takes a neutral stance, more like an observer. She is depicted as an antagonist by the Dying God, as she represents death and darkness, which can be intimidating. However, she is solemn, and the negative image of death and darkness is only a reflection of people's fears. She opposes the Dying God and stands on the side of the holy maiden out of mercy, granting the holy maiden the power to protect herself.

The design of this character was chosen to represent the consoler of darkness and death in the story. Elements such as moths, skeletons, corpses, and blood were selected to convey this theme. The emotions of sadness and mercy were expressed through a gaze reminiscent of the Virgin Mary, along with a silhouette resembling a nun's hood and robe. The body language was designed to evoke a sense of pride while also being welcoming. After assuming a divine form, she becomes a protector, and underneath her robe resides the souls of the sacrificed children. Additionally, for visual balance and to emphasize the character's towering presence, the lantern was depicted as relatively smaller in size.

A model version sculpted by Zbrush. The model is made for a physical figure, and considering the assembly method and support, some modifications and adjustments have been made to this character.
